The Chainway R2 Bluetooth RFID Reader is a lightweight and portable UHF RFID reader designed for inventory management, retail, warehousing, logistics, asset tracking, and field operations. Featuring a compact ergonomic design, the R2 enables users to perform high-speed RFID data collection while maintaining seamless connectivity with smartphones and tablets.Compatible with both Android and iOS devices, the R2 supports application development through dedicated SDKs. It connects via Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) 5.0 and USB Type-C, allowing flexible wireless and wired operation. The integrated 1.77-inch display provides real-time operational information, while the ergonomic handheld design ensures comfortable all-day use.Powered by a self-developed UHF module based on Impinj E-Series chips, the R2 supports Impinj Gen2X technology for enhanced RFID performance. The device delivers a reading range of up to 26–31 meters (depending on tag type and environment) and supports reading speeds exceeding 900 tags per second, making it ideal for large-scale inventory counting and asset management applications.The R2 is equipped with a 5200mAh removable battery, providing over 70 hours standby time and up to 6 hours of continuous RFID reading. Optional barcode scanning functionality allows users to collect both RFID and barcode data using a single device.
