The Chainway R3S Desktop RFID Reader is a compact and high-performance desktop UHF RFID reader designed for retail, smart cabinets, library management, asset tracking, document management, authentication, and inventory control applications. Its versatile connectivity options and enterprise-grade RFID performance make it an ideal solution for desktop RFID data collection. Compatible with Windows, Android, and iOS platforms, the R3S supports multiple communication methods including USB Type-C, RJ45 Ethernet, and Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) 5.0, ensuring flexible deployment across various business environments. The device also supports PoE+ (Power over Ethernet) for simplified installation and power management. Powered by advanced RFID technology, the R3S supports global UHF frequency bands including 920–925 MHz, 902–928 MHz, and 865–868 MHz. It delivers a reading distance of more than 100cm, supports 250+ tags per second, and can perform multi-tag inventory of 70+ tags within 5 seconds. Support for the latest Impinj Gen2X technology ensures superior RFID reading performance and tag recognition accuracy. Designed for continuous operation, the reader includes a dedicated scan button, integrated LED indicators, and a buzzer for user feedback.
