The Chainway UR4 and Chainway UR8 are enterprise-grade fixed UHF RFID readers designed for warehouse automation, inventory management, smart retail, logistics, manufacturing, asset tracking, library management, and industrial IoT applications. Built on advanced Impinj E Series RFID technology, both readers deliver exceptional RFID performance, stability, and reliability in demanding environments. The UR4 features 4 antenna ports, while the UR8 offers 8 antenna ports for wider RFID coverage and more complex deployments. Both models support RS232 and RJ45 Ethernet communication, enabling seamless integration with ERP, WMS, MES, and industrial automation systems. Their rugged aluminum alloy construction provides excellent heat dissipation and resistance to electromagnetic interference. Supporting global RFID frequency bands including 920–925 MHz, 902–928 MHz, and 865–868 MHz, the readers utilize Impinj Gen2X technology to enhance tag reading accuracy and performance. The UR4 supports reading speeds of up to 1300+ tags per second, while the UR8 delivers high-speed multi-tag performance with support for complex antenna deployments. Both models support a wide range of RFID antennas, including 6dBic and 9dBic panel antennas.
